Second night of indoor night photography. Getting much better! This time was much calmer, and I managed to drop my ISO to 200 instead of 400/800/1600! There was also not so many blurry ones as the previous nights so I was able to actually pick which to upload Still not perfect - I'd love to get better at getting two light sources working perfectly that was it's not one super bright side and one super dark side but to a degree it's a cool effect.
About The Cat This is Oliver, he is just about two years old. My boyfriend and I had him since he was a kitten. There was a women going door to door trying to find him and his brothers/sisters a home because unfortunately her dog killed their mother. We took Oliver and he was our first pet together. He's got quite a personality to him, very playful and loves being the first to greet you at the door every day.
I love this photograph. This is so cool. I like the effect with one side being lit up and the other a little darker. It gives it a 3D look, in my opinion. I think it looks more interesting. Great job. I wish my cats would let me photograph them. They can never keep still long enough to let me take a good photo lol.
Thank you very much So far this is my favorite on my dA and since I really started getting back into photography.
I totally understand - Oliver is the only one that will sit for a long time or pay attention, which is why I've got four of him and only one of my others haha. He is missing part of his nose though so I have to spend quite a bit fixing his nose in photoshop before uploading which kinda stinks but that's alright
Lots of patience! I've got some cat photographing tips if you'd like me to note you some ^_^
